In a few weeks time, I’m running the ‘Heineken Race to the Tower’ Ultra Marathon.
The course is 52 miles long, has a climb of 7476ft, and takes me though two whole counties. On the plus side, I've been promised charming stone villages, inspirational views and an ice cold beer at the end.
Lots and lots and lots of running, a couple of pairs of trainers, and a few blisters later, I think I’m almost ready for the challenge….#prayforellie
The vast majority of you reading this page will have been incredibly lucky to have the support and resources around you to be where you are today. For many children growing up today, they don't have this privilege. I'm running for to raise both money and awareness for IntoUniversity, a charity which works with students from disadvantaged backgrounds to support them through their education journey, whether that means going to university or something else. These children are around 4 times less likely than those in the most advantaged areas to go to university, and the lack of resources available to them make it incredibly hard for them to reach their full potential.

Any support would be most welcome.
